Quentin Roosevelt died in battle in France one hundred years ago today. It is all the more poignant that he was killed on Bastille Day. Of all the pieces I have done, this may be the most rewarding.

Margaret what a beautiful line in your tribute to Quentn: “A fence was built around the grave which which stood for many years, creating a pilgrimage opportunity for soldiers and French citizens alike.”
