Today is the 105th anniversary of Woodrow Wilson’s address to Congress seeking a declaration of war on Germany. I was having a conversation the other day with someone about the ghosts and demons of the twentieth century returning today. It is haunting and sobering.

I know it will sound controversial, but the worse thing that ever happened was the Allies winning WW I and the USA getting involved in it. WW II would never have happened and so many other ugly things. The peace was even worse that the war in many ways. My grandfather served in France. The Kaiser was not Adolph.
