Jim, I lived in Houston for a decade, even getting my BA in History at UH, and sadly never got out to visit the Texas. Not seeing it is one of my big regrets.
The dreadnoughts are indeed incredible machines. And they played such a huge role in our nation’s history. With the Brooklyn Navy Yard so close to where I live and work, I’m going to delve deeper into this as the Centennial moves on.
